Bus available from Rapness Ferry terminal to Bis Geos!

The Bisgeos Self Catering Cottages are found on the island of Westray, one of the Orkney islands.

There are a number of ways to get here.

To get from the Orkney Mainland from Westray you must travel from Kirkwall. Island Mini Bus service available from each ferry during summer months.

From Kirkwall Harbour you could take the car and passenger ferry run by Orkney Ferries. The duration of this journey is roughly 1 hour 30 minutes. For more information consult the Orkney Ferries website at www.orkneyferries.co.uk

You could also take the airplane to Westray from Kirkwall airport. This service is run by Loganair and the duration of the journey is 15 minutes.

To get to Orkney from the Scottish Mainland you can take a ferry.

Northlink Ferries operate a Car and Passenger service from Scrabster to Stromness or from Aberdeen to Kirkwall. The former journey lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and the latter 6 hours. You can find timetabnles and more at www.northlinkferries.co.uk

Alternatively you can take a ferry run by Pentland ferries which travels from Gills Bay to St Margarets Hope. This is a passenger and car ferry and is a slightly shorter journey (1 hour long) You can find more information at www.pentlandferries.co.uk

There is a passenger only ferry run by John O' Groats Ferries which travels from John O'Groats to Burwick. This journey lasts 45 minutes and you can find out more information about it at www.jogferry.co.uk

You can also fly to Orkney, landing in Kirkwall Airport. There are plenty of scheduled flights to Inverness and Aberdeen, with connections much further afield.
